Bone Cancer Remission

Postby Fridolf » Fri Jul 29, 2016 10:49 pm

If you go into remission with bone cancer, what happens to the tumors already mastised in your bones?  Do they continue to grow, and do they grow slowly?

ANSWER: They may be dead or they may grow VERY slowly. If they grow normally you will not seem to be nor be in remission!

I was told by my doctor that this bone cancer is not curable so how can the tumors be dead?  Thank You.

Bone Cancer Remission

A stage 4 cancer is at present always incurable but you may - at least for some time - keep it under control. If it has spread to the bones it has often also spread elsewhere even if not yet detected. Parts of the tumor may be dead while other parts may grow very slowly.
