Dear Dr. Leslie,
Usually in the morning my urine will bubble and be somewhat amber to yellow. Througout the day the urine will be lighter and the bubbles will be less apparent. Should I be concerned? How bubbly or foamy should the urine be? In the morning it may take a while to fully dissipate. In the afternoon, the bubbles are less and dissipate fairly quickly.
I am 57 years old and had bladder cancer 6 years ago. I get a systoscopy every 6 months and have been cancer free to date. I did a a hemangioma biopsied last week and the result was negative for cancer.
My urologist prescribed Cipro(antibiotic) after the procedure, which I completed 2 days ago. However, in the last couple of days, urinating takes a bit more time in voiding and it feels as if it bursts out of the penis. This is not painful, but feels a bit uncomfortable.
Is this anything to be concerned about? Can it be a urinary tract infection or something more serious?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide!
